Born and raised in Queens, New York, yoRaheem brings a style that’s equal parts sharp, gritty, and creative. His music reflects everything he enjoys in life — from clever wordplay to witty, crafted lines that stay stuck in your head. What sets him apart is his blend of influences: he pulls from Midwest flows and Southern rhythms, then fuses them with a true New York mentality. The result is a sound that’s fresh, versatile, and rooted in authenticity.
Musical Journey
yoRaheem’s musical journey began in high school in 2018, where he was fortunate enough to have full access to a recording studio. His music teacher, Everett, encouraged students to dive into the craft, even bringing industry legends like Jerry Wonda to inspire and motivate them.
Those early days shaped everything to come. Since then, yoRaheem has been writing, performing, and recording across New York City, developing his voice and pushing his creativity. He even launched his own showcase series, “The Spotlight,” giving independent artists a platform to shine.
After stepping back for half a year to regroup and refocus, yoRaheem is now returning with more clarity, discipline, and hunger than ever. His skillset has grown far beyond what most people expect — and this next chapter is about proving exactly that.
